Our programs provide structured support, life skills development, social opportunities, recreation, transition services, and respite care in a safe and inclusive environment.

Many families discover that services become limited as children grow older, especially after elementary school and during the transition to adulthood. H.O.P.E. was created specifically to address this gap by providing ongoing support, life skills training, social development, recreation, and transition-focused programming for teens and young adults who still need structured services.

No. H.O.P.E. is specifically designed to serve school-aged adolescents and young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities, ages 12–22. Our programs focus on supporting individuals throughout their middle school, high school, and transition years, recognizing that many students with disabilities remain eligible for educational services until age 22.
Our mission is to bridge the critical gap in services that often exists during these important years by providing life skills development, social opportunities, therapeutic support, recreation, and transition-focused programming.

Our Life Skills Lab provides hands-on instruction designed to help participants build independence and confidence. Training may include:

Participants learn through real-world practice in a supportive environment.

Yes. Participants have access to ABA therapy services through H.O.P.E. Life Skills and Therapy Services. Our approach combines evidence-based behavioral support, social skills development, life skills training, recreation, and community engagement to help participants build independence and confidence. By integrating therapy with real-world learning opportunities, participants can practice and generalize skills across home, school, community, and social settings.
This unique model allows families to access both therapeutic services and enriching developmental programming under one coordinated framework.

Yes. H.O.P.E. offers full-day summer enrichment programs that combine learning, recreation, social development, life skills training, community experiences, and fun activities designed specifically for teens and young adults with developmental disabilities.

Yes. H.O.P.E. works to reinforce and support many of the goals outlined in a participant's Individualized Education Program (IEP). Our staff can help promote skill development in areas such as communication, social interaction, behavior management, daily living skills, and transition readiness while providing progress updates to families.

Yes. H.O.P.E. seeks partnerships with school districts, transition programs, and community organizations to provide supplemental support for students and families. Our services can complement educational programming and help bridge the gap between school, home, and adulthood.
